The Lesson

Sylvia is mad at Miss Moore because Miss Moore is trying to teach many things to Sylvia. Miss Moore seems to be very boring person, and I think Sylvia is feeling like anybody who teaches something to her is similar to Miss Moore. Sylvia has in her mind that whatever Miss Moore says is useless. In the book it says, "say Junebug, figuring Miss Moore crazy or lyin one" (Arp and Johnson 140). So, as Miss Moore tells something to Junebug found out that she was weird.
